According to a new Gallup poll only 29% of American approve of the job being done by Congress. This is down from earlier this year. Bush's approval rating, though still low at 33%, has stayed steady.There is no surprise that the Gallup poll results indicated that those support for fell on party lines.
"Approval ratings of Congress are higher among Democrats than Republicans, while Bush's ratings are much higher among Republicans."
